Using vacuum distillation, the equipment separates clean solvent from contaminants (paint residue, oils, particulates) inside a closed vessel, producing solvent pure enough to feed straight back into the process. How the Recovery Process Works
- Fill: spent solvent is loaded into the distillation chamber.
- Vacuum & heat: the chamber is brought under vacuum, lowering the boiling point so distillation happens at safer, more energy-efficient temperatures.
- Separation: solvent vapor is drawn off and condensed into clean, reusable liquid, while contaminants remain behind.
- Residue discharge: concentrated residue is removed automatically (via bag or scraper systems on larger models), ready for minimal-volume disposal.
